SunTen Phytotech (STPT), being branched out from the Research & Development Department of SunTen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd and further collaborated with Brion Research Institute of Taiwan, was founded in the end of 2001 as a Taiwan herbal-based biotechnology company. The exploitation of over 60 years research into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Brion Research Institute, the implementation of the technology in Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) for botanical drugs, and the integration with modern drug development knowledge, enhanced STPT to build up a comprehensive research program for the development of novel botanical medicines and functional dietary products with global standards.
